FFC organizes our leadership as biblically as we can. We look to the scriptures for what qualifies someone to lead and follow Jesus' example of "servant leadership".
CHURCH LEADERSHIP
-
Joshua Hand (Lead Pastor/head elder)
In 2025 Joshua stepped in as the church's Head Elder, replacing long-time pastor, Randy Hand, and is eager to continue the good work of sharing the love of God and building on the foundation that was laid over the years prior. As a long-term member of the community, Pastor Joshua has a heart for Liberty and its surrounding areas, especially for those who feel that they are far from God and have questions in need of answer. Joining him on this journey are his wonderful wife Breana and their two daughters, Hazel and Eden.

Paul bruchon (Elder)
Paul has been with FFC since 2009, first as a frequent attender and eventually as a Deacon, usher, and the head of the facility ministry. He now serves as an Elder and the leader of the Life Group ministry for the Liberty campus. Paul owns and operates Bruchon Property Services, a landscaping and property maintenance company, and lives in Julian, NC with his wife Stacie and their four children.

Bruce has been in ministry for many years, serving in leadership at multiple churches over that time. He has been with FFC since 2012 and has served in several ministries over the years including the choir, worship band, prayer, and facilities ministries. Bruce now serves as an Elder and oversees the church's preschool operations at Freedom Preschool. He lives in Liberty, NC with his wife Lori and is the President of Learning Environments, an educational materials company. Bruce and Lori have two adult sons and two grandsons.
