CHURCH LEADERSHIP

FFC aims to organize our leadership as biblically as possible, looking to scripture for what qualifies someone to lead and following Christ's example of "servant leadership".

  • Joshua Hand (Lead Pastor/elder)

In 2025 Joshua stepped in as the church's Lead Pastor, eager to continue the good work of sharing God's love and building on the foundation that was laid over the years prior. As a long-time member of the community and a founding member of the church, Pastor Joshua has a heart for Liberty and its surrounding areas--especially for those who feel that they are far from God or have questions in need of answer. Joining him on this journey are his wonderful wife Breana and their three daughters Hazel, Eden, and Sophia.

  • Paul bruchon (Elder)

Paul has been with FFC since 2009, first as a frequent attender and eventually as a Deacon, usher, and the head of the facility ministry. He now serves as an Elder and oversees many of the church's daily operations at Liberty campus. Paul also owns and operates Bruchon Property Services, a landscaping and property maintenance company, and lives in Julian, NC with his wife Stacie and their four children.

  • Bruce Cobb (elder)

Bruce has been in ministry for many years, serving in leadership at multiple churches over that time. He has been with FFC since 2012 and has served in several ministries over the years including the choir, worship band, prayer team, and facilities ministries. Her heart for God, His people, and the lost of this world has lead her to serve as a deacon, member of the prayer team, and leader of the church's Hospitality Ministry. Tahesia also works as a financial advisor at Modern Woodmen of America and is heavily involved in various community organizations dedicated to giving back to the people of our area.

Passionate about praising the Lord and helping others to do so too, she now leads the church's worship team while continuing to work as a Cyber Security Engineer in Archdale, NC.

Stacie's love for the Lord is seen every day through her love for the children He's given us. A former elementary school educator, Stacie now serves as the church's Children Ministry Leader and helps kids to learn more about God and His love for us every week. Stacie is also the Director of the church's full time child care facility, Freedom Preschool, where she has worked hard to create an atmosphere of love and learning that sets children up for success spiritually, mentally, and relationally.

Former leadership

Freedom Family Church - Liberty has had the privilege over the years to be the home of many exemplary leaders. Many of these have since been called on to new areas of ministry, so this section serves to honor a handful of those who have helped us get where we are today and provide an opportunity for all who wish to continue following them on their journey. Please see the profiles below and the links included to get a glimpse into all God has done and is doing in their lives.

  • randy hand (Founding pastor)

Randy has been in ministry since 1988 and has served the Lord through various organizations and churches since then. In 2017 Ben and his family received the call to plant Freedom Family Church - Siler City.
